“What greater gift than the love of a cat?” ~Charles Dickens
My two sweet cats are my life.
Well. Most of the time.
They don’t consume me, but they are a very big part of my life. And anything I say to them, I get a purr back. It’s perfect!
My daughter is mostly grown so she doesn’t need me much anymore. We recently celebrated her birthday on a cruise.
My partner is, well… 🙂 a grown man and may need some attention here and there… 😀
But mostly my cats are there.
All the time.
Day and night.
And they need me.
And I love being needed by them.
What’s the most important thing in your life?
I know what they are in mine: my daughter and my cats. My health is important but that’s second nature as I learned long ago how to be and stay healthy. Seldom do I give in to large amounts of sugar, caffeine, sodium, or other slow-killers.
But my cats…..
oh the Purring. Playing. Climbing.
These guys know how to have fun!
Their activities throughout the house are helpful to me because very seldom do I feel bored, or lonely, and never depressed.
“Cats do not have to be shown how to have a good time, for they are unfailing ingenious in that respect.” ~James Mason
If my day starts bad–which can often happen when things don’t go right– just one look at these little furry creatures seeking my attention and I feel all warm inside with joy.
Aren’t cats sweet!?
There are two means of refuge from the miseries of life: music and cats. ~Albert Schweitzer
